We are located 60 miles south of Las Vegas, Nevada in Mountain Pass, California
Job Title: Operator Trainee Location: Mountain Pass, California
Regular/Temporary: Regular Full/Part Time: Full-Time
Exempt/Non Exempt: Non-exempt Shift: 12 Hour Rotating Shift
RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Responsible for monitoring and controlling parameters in a chemical processing environment
 Responsible for handling material in a safe and environmentally conscience manner
 Take and analyze samples
 Unload and load trucks
 Package product and waste
 General cleanup
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
 Ability to perform heavy manual labor in an outdoor setting
 Ability to complete a task without constant supervision
 Attention to detail and ability learn new duties
 Ability to learn the flow of a chemical process and the cause/effect relationship of process changes
 Ability to follow instructions (written and verbal)
 Attention to safe work practices and knowing one’s limitations
PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED:
 1-3 years of experience in an industrial setting, some form of manufacturing or processing
